Convert HEIC to JPG
HEIC photos can be awkward to attach to a service or open in software that expects JPEG. JPG is a practical delivery format for photographs when the receiving tool explicitly asks for it. JPG and JPEG are two extensions for the same format.
Choose compatibility, not a quality upgrade
Converting HEIC to JPEG produces a new compressed image. It does not recover missing detail, and repeated JPEG saves can add artifacts. Keep the original HEIC files as your source copies. Winzerk exports the rendered image; do not rely on the download to preserve camera metadata, depth data, or Live Photo motion.
Convert with Winzerk
Add your HEIC or HEIF files to the homepage converter. Choose JPG, adjust Quality if needed, and select Convert All. Download each JPEG or download a ZIP and extract it before using a service that accepts individual images.
Preparing a large photo batch
Start with a few representative photos and inspect faces, fine textures, and orientation in the downloads. Higher quality generally trades a larger file for less visible compression. If a destination has a file-size limit, check the actual output size; the slider does not promise a particular number of megabytes. HEIC decoding happens in the browser, so large batches can take time and memory.
Your photos are decoded and converted locally in your browser, not uploaded to Winzerk. Large HEIC collections may work better in smaller batches. Keep your originals and verify the downloads before deleting anything.
