Convert WebP to PNG

PNG is useful when a design tool accepts PNG but not WebP, especially for a still logo, illustration, or other graphic with transparent areas. Winzerk can export the decoded image to PNG without flattening its transparency onto white.

Keep alpha, not promises of restoration

PNG can carry the alpha channel from a WebP image that the browser decodes with transparency. Its lossless compression does not reverse artifacts already present in a lossy WebP. The result can be larger, and this conversion should not be treated as an archival guarantee for metadata or color profiles.

Convert with Winzerk

Choose the WebP images, select PNG, and convert. Leave Resize images off when you need the existing pixel dimensions. Download the PNG files individually or as a ZIP; there is no PNG quality adjustment.

Check edges and still-image intent

Inspect transparent edges against the background where the graphic will be used. If resizing pixel art, Nearest pixel avoids interpolation; Smooth is more suitable when blended edges are desired. This is a still-image conversion, not an animated WebP-to-animated-PNG workflow. For a solid photographic image where file size matters more than transparency, JPG may be a better destination. Files are processed locally and are not uploaded to Winzerk.
